Ken Brown joined Inter-American Coal in 2011. Prior to joining Inter-American Coal, Mr. Brown held several positions with Massey Energy dating back to 2006, most recently as Director of Surface Engineering. Prior to joining Massey Energy, Mr. Brown spent several years in Colombia as Superintendent, Coal Operations, for Drummond Ltd. He began his engineering and production career at Amax Coal Co. Mr. Brown is a Professional Engineer and holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University, and has been a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers since 1989.
