James B. Crawford
ChairmanMr. Crawford became Chairman of Inter-American Coal in December 2005. Prior to joining Inter-American Coal, Mr. Crawford was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of James River Coal Company, from its founding in 1988 until March 2003, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Transco Coal Company, from 1982 until 1988. From 1972 to 1981, Mr. Crawford served as Chief Financial Officer of A.T. Massey Coal Company and was a Director of Massey Energy from 2005 until May 2011. Among his other interests, Mr. Crawford is Chair Emeritus and a current member of the Board of Trustees of Colby College, Chair Emeritus of the Collegiate School and current Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Richmond Foundation.
