Dr. Stanley C. Suboleski

Director

Dr. Suboleski has been a Director of Inter-American Coal since 2011. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Massey Energy Company and continues to serve on the Board of Directors of OKD Coal, a Czech Republic company. Prior to his retirement in 2003, he previously was employed in a number of positions by Massey Energy, including Interim Chief Operating Officer and President of its United Coal Company subsidiary. Dr. Suboleski has also been Department Head of Mining and Mineral Engineering at Virginia Tech and Chairman of Mining Engineering at Penn State University. He has also served as a Commissioner on the U.S. Federal Safety and Health Review Commission. Dr. Suboleski is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and a Distinguished Member of the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration.
