Through our partnership in Mariac Shipping Company, Inter-American Coal has made significant investments in geared, ocean-going vessels, capable of high-speed self-loading and self-discharging. The fleet includes 17 grab self-unloaders and 5 belt dischargers, some with a beam reaching 70 meters. Vessels of the proper size, configuration, and capability are critical in serving IAC’s customers, many of which have discharge facilities with limitations.
